I just installed MercurialEclipse and the windows binaries. When eclipse starts it shows a dialog titled Problem Occurred with the following details:

" LoadLibrary(pythondll) failedThe specified module could not be found.

C:\eclipse3.6\plugins\com.intland.hgbinary.win32_1.6.4\os\win32\PYTHON26.DLL. Command line: hg -y debuginstall "

Is this a known problem? Is there a way I can fix this?

Thank you.

Thanks for the tip. Uninstalling the bundled windows binaries has resolved the problem.

PLease uninstall the hgbinaries plugin so the external hg.exe is picked up or configure the path to hg.exe in Preferences->Team->Mercurial

I haven't heard of this issue before. Can you install standalone mercurial (, either an installer or TortoiseHg) and we can see if this is an issue specific to the hg that's bundled on the update site.

Also what version of Windows are you using?
