When you make an orc, it keeps the half-orc model. This is excellent! But the focus of the camera in over-the-shoulder mode is much lower than it is for a half-orc. For a half-orc, the camera zooms in at just above head-level; for an orc, at about groin-level. This is a little odd, but probably not a problem...
The second oddity is a problem, however. This is my attempt to equip the standard robe that 1st level wizards are given in their starting inventories:
